But the phoenix can't rise,
When the fire's not kept alive,
Back in August the wobbles threw us all off-track,
And by September it felt like there was no way back,
But when October rolled round,
Two men spurred a turning tide,

Francis keeping strikes at bay,
And Eunan's FA Cup display;

The first chapter of #AFCBAnthem is brought to a close with this compilation of musical homages to the meteoric rise of the mighty AFC Bournemouth!
From 2013's Championship Promotion anthem "Eddie's Army" to the rewrite for the Premier League two years later, via terrace classics such as "Eddie Had A Dream", Chants Encounter rounds off 8 years of odes and tributes to the chants and songs that have been bellowed from the stands game after game.
The final track, "Ode To Dean Court 2021: Back To The Stands", honours those players who saw through the 2020/21 season in the hollow silence of empty stadiums, as well as the club legends who sadly departed during the pandemic's "Project Restart" without the farewell from fans that they truly deserved.
Here's hoping that 2021/22 sees us all return home where we belong: Back To The Stands!
