Celebrating the annual festive exploits of Bournemouth town, which is on the south coast of England, which is on Earth.

I'm not sure where the Summer has gone,
The beaches heaving and the evenings long,
We'd spend hours watching sunsets over the Pier,
The Wheels Festival rolled around back in May,
Before Rixton, Loveable Rogues and Rizzle Kicks stormed the stage,
To an aviation backdrop that rocks the town every year,
But now the nights are drawing in,
And as November turns December it can only mean one thing,
That it's nearly Christmas all across the land,
So let the bells ring out over snowflaked sands,
Cos It's Christmas, when the centre of town comes alive,
It's Christmas, feel the festive love,
And drink some mulled wine from a boot-shaped mug,
When it's Christmas we're having a ball,
Cos this is the town with it all,
Well if you're looking to fend off boredom then you're in the right place,
Because there's really no end of shopping to do or places to skate,
You can go indoors or outdoors or even on the pavement sometimes,
(Well depending on the weather of course...)
And if you're bringing along your little ones well that's alright too,
Because Captain Hook is gonna set sail and bring all his crew,
To our own Pavilion Theatre to take on Peter Pan one more time,

And when the switch-on comes around,
It's in the air,
You just can't beat the aromas, the sights and the sounds,
That scream out it’s,
Christmas on the Dorset coast,
So sing the carols out loud that we love the most,
Cos it's Christmas, when the stage in the square comes alive,
It's Christmas, see the Gardens glow,
With the Eye flying high and the Lights below,
When it's Christmas there’s never time to rest,
Cos this is the town at its best,
The season comes around so fast,
(Time for Markets and tinsel wood huts)
Gonna buy some homemade crafts,
(German Bratwurst and Roasted chestnuts)
Drink Deutsch beer,
Feed reindeer,
And that's a good line to bring in some lead guitar...
Cos we are Bournemouth at the heart of the south,
For the best festivities without a doubt,
Come to Bournemouth, we're the Cherries in the Christmas cake,
Here at Bournemouth, it's not all serious,
We've a pole-climbing Santa and a talking moose,
