lyrics

So many things not known to mind,
The worst case of "if ye seek, then ye shall surely find",
But who put you on your track?
Who gave the days you live their plaque,
That shines, outlines the one you're meant to be?
Eventually,
Despite the TV saying we're made by chance,

Well you can keep your massive bang,
That without cause caused the entire of time and space,
And pair it with Darwinian means,
That forged a far too coincidental human race,
And place it up your arse that wasn't designed at all,
I just hope you can find enough room,
Right next to your head that's not so small,
'Cos we all mean so much more than a boom,

You consume your media-biased views,
'Cos that's enough for you to reach a,
Valid conclusion, you praise Gervais for his truths,
In the vainest hope he'll retweet ya,
You follow all the greatest minds in science,
Who assert curt theories with defiance,
But they're just self-preservators,
It's pure human nature,
'Cos don't forget we've "evolved",
To protect what we've sold,
And deflect when we're told there's any danger,

Well you can keep your massive bang,
That without cause caused the entire of time and space,
And pair it with Darwinian means,
That forged a far too coincidental human race,
And place it up your arse that wasn't designed at all,
I just hope you can find enough room,
Right next to your head that's not so small,
'Cos we all mean so much more than a boom,

I just don't see,
Why what we can't see,
Is such a long drawn-out topic debated with great fervency,
Just think it through,
It doesn't mean it's true,
Just 'cos it's posted by someone with far more page likes than you,
Apply heart to mind,
Only believe the things that you find yourself,

'Cos what about perceived differences in reality,
And tiny little quirks that define personality?
And what about the beauty and uniqueness of art,
The way I hear the things I see and how I tell them apart?
And are we really so obsessed with genetic control?
I mean, arthritic sheep are great, it's just they're lacking a soul,
Just take on-board what feels right inside,
And embrace the unknown with arms open wide,

Well hold on to your massive bang,
That without cause caused the entire of time and space,
Which you'll defend to the ends of the Earth,
'Cos all that matters is to save that stuffed-up knowing face,
Just place it up your arse that wasn't designed at all,
I just hope you can find enough room,
Right next to your head that's not so small,
'Cos we all mean so much more than a boom,

'Cos what about perceived differences in reality,
And tiny little quirks that define personality?
And what about the beauty and uniqueness of art,
The way I hear the things I see and how I tell them apart?
And are we really so obsessed with genetic control?
I mean, arthritic sheep are great, it's just they're lacking a soul,
Just take on-board what feels right inside,
And embrace the unknown with arms open wide.

[John Lennox]
The Universe reflects mathematical structures,
But mathematics doesn't cause anything,
Newton's Laws describe what will happen,
They don't cause motion,
Our explorations, and the very way we do them,
Is pointing towards a mind behind them,
And that didn't hinder science in the 17th Century,
And it needn't hinder science now.

Sounds Like Adam Bournemouth, UK

UK Songwriting Contest Semi-Finalist 2014 & 3-time Semi-Finalist 2012.

The friendly Power Pop Punk Rock writings of a south-coasterly 20-or-30-something, depending on what year this is.

Adam's refreshingly pop-flavoured, punk-tinted, atmosphere-rife, harmonic musters come straight from the heart of "one of Bournemouth's better lyricists" (Rock Regeneration).
